Individual Health Insurance

More and more people are buying individual health insurance plans as many companies are no longer offering employee health insurance. As a result, many people can get private health insurance plans that can be customized to their particular needs. Finding the right private health insurance coverage at the right price is what Siskiyou Insurance specialized in.

What Types of Individual Health Insurance Plans are available?

  • HSA (Health Savings Account) Plans are insurance policies that allow you to put extra money aside money into a state and federally approved tax free savings account that is available when you need it for medical expenses. They are approved by the State and Federal Government and are typically associated with high deductible health plans.
  • HMO's (Health Maintenance Organization) offer comprehensive health coverage and are the most affordable plans available. They create a network of health care providers, doctors, nurses, clinics, and health care specialists that ensure you'll have access to medical services when you need it.
  • PPO's (Preferred Provider Organization) are private health insurance policies that have an added benefit of providing you coverage with any health care provider. It is a flexible and comprehensive health care plan. You will be able to visit any doctor or specialist and your plan will cover the cost.
