Siskiyou Insurance provides health insurance plans for individuals and business. The most common in Northern California are Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans. We offer almost all of the plans available in our area but most do not have the Doctors network the size of Blue Cross or Blue Shield.

Affordable Coverage Under the Affordable Care Act

In 2016, the penalty for not having health insurance will be the greater of 2.5% of your taxable income or $695 per adult and $347.50 per child (up to $2,085 per family). After 2016, the penalty will rise annually and be tied to the increase in the cost of living.

• PPO's (Preferred Provider Organization) are private health insurance policies that have an added benefit of providing you coverage with any health care provider. It is a flexible and comprehensive health care plan. You will be able to visit any doctor or specialist and your plan will cover the cost.
